How to Contact OCS
All faculty, students, and staff with questions about OCS services should direct their questions through 4Help.  They can be accessed at 231-HELP (231-4357) or http://www.4help.vt.edu; Online Course Systems continues to work with 4Help and answers.vt.edu to ensure consistent, quality support for the educational technologies we support. If you receive an invalid certificate error when you go to the 4Help web form, most likely you need to install the VT Root Certificates. You can get more information about what that is and how to install it.

Installing VTCA Root Certificates

VTCA root certificates are digital certificates that support secure access to a large number of web services and applications on campus. If you are receiving security warnings when visiting certain Virginia Tech web pages, then you may need to install the appropriate VT root certificate in your browser. The following links will instruct how to install the Virginia Tech Certification Authority (VTCA) root certificate for the most commonly used browsers.
