You no longer need to request a worksite throught OCS. Anyone with a pid, can create their own site in Scholar in the Site Setup tool. Simpy login to Scholar and in your My Workspace, there is a tool in left menu called Site Setup. Using the Site Setup, look for the New link and create your site. If you are creating a Course Site and you plan to attached a roster, just make sure to choose the correct term. If you have any questions, please contact OCS via 4Help.

How Do I Create a Course Site in Scholar?
Faculty, Staff and Students can create sites in Scholar. To do this, you simply have to login to Scholar and use the Site Setup tool that is located in the My Workspace Menu.
- After logging in to Scholar, locate the Site Setup tool in the My Workspace navigation menu.
- On the Site Setup tool, choose New from the set of choices.
- It is important to choose the term when the course will be offered.
- If the term is more than 1 month in the future, we may not have roster data yet. This is not a problem, the rosters can be added later as long as the correct term was chosen when you created the site.
- Choose Course Site Type and press the Continue Button.
- You are asked for a Roster Name, if no official rosters can be found for your, or if official rosters can be found you are shown a list of those.
- If you are not shown the roster list, simply type in a name for this "roster" and press the Continue Button. If you are shown official rosters, choose the rosters you would like to have access to this site and press the Continue Button.
- On the next screen, give your Course a Title.
- You may also fill in a Description at this time, if you would like. When you are ready, press the Continue Button.
- Choose the tools you would like to use in your course and press the Continue Button
- You may also choose to use materials from another site at this step. If you choose to do use materials from another site, select the site that contains your materials and press the continue button. On the next screen you can choose which tools you would like to reuse.
- Press the Continue Button to move to the next screen.
- If you chose any tools that require configuration, like Web Content or News Feed, the next screen will allow you to do this. After you have configured them, press the Continue Button to move to the next screen.
- The next screen allows you to either publish the site now, or wait and also choose if you want registered users of Scholar to be able to join your newly created site. Both of these settings can be changed later. Press the Continue Button to move to the last screen.
- This last screen is a summary screen. When you are ready, press the Create Site Button.
- You have now successfully create a Course Site in Scholar.
