Consistent with
the notion of learning communities, faculty can group students with
people in the community, professionals in the field, other faculty
on campus, or students at other schools. In the screen shot below,
students in a multimedia course were grouped with a faculty member
on campus to create real multimedia projects. The students could exchange
multimedia files as they worked to build a module for their assigned
faculty "client." The client could review the students'
work and provide feedback or suggested revisions.
