The subject of these two paintings is the same: the last meal of Christ and his apostles on the night before Christ's death. Yet the emotional and psychological effects they have on you are quite different. This difference is partially the result of differences in content. In this lesson we'll discuss the term content, describe how to determine content, and explain how the content of a work of art relates to its subject. |
